Pamela Kappel
President, Co-Owner
With 44 years in the title industry, I began my career in 1978 at Smart & Johnson Abstract Co., in Columbus, Indiana, where I managed one of the largest title companies in the area and handled all aspects of daily operations.
In May 2002, I moved to Terre Haute, Indiana, and founded Honeycreek Closing Services. The company quickly expanded, incorporated, and became Honeycreek Title Services, Inc., in 2005. In April 2011, I merged with Vigo Wade Abstract & Title Co., Inc., leading to the formation of Honeycreek Vigo Title Services, Inc., where I am co-owner.
My extensive experience enables me to handle all facets of the title business, from research and document preparation to managing transactions and customer relations. I am licensed by the Indiana Department of Insurance and actively participate in the Indiana Land Title Association and the Terre Haute Area Association of Realtors.

I began my career in real estate in October 1992 at Vigo-Wade Abstract, where I mastered the foundational aspects of title services. Over the years, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that covers all facets of a real estate title professional's role. This includes title insurance commitments, preparing final policies, and managing both residential and commercial transactions throughout the pre-closing and post-closing phases.
In April 2011, I co-founded Honeycreek Vigo Title Services, Inc., with Pam Kappel, transitioning from title services to business ownership and leadership. I am licensed in title insurance by the Indiana Department of Insurance and actively participate in professional organizations such as the Indiana Land Title Association and the Terre Haute Area Association of Realtors.
With over three decades of experience in the industry, I am deeply committed to providing precise and reliable title services. My extensive background ensures that every aspect of my work is executed with the highest level of accuracy and excellence.
